Membership

In an effort to get the many benefits of farm life to those who need it, which is everyone, we excited to share our new membership information!

One of the most frequent questions we get is when you are open and what do you have to offer. It seems so simple, but, just like the individuals we serve, one size does not fit all. With that in mind, we have created membership options that are flexible in time as well as activities.

To be clear, memberships are for individuals with support family and staff to participate and enjoy as a family or group or agency. Having activities that are fun, educational, and promote a sense of wellbeing is our goal. We can achieve more when we work together, and the farm is designed to make that easy.

Schedule your free introductory visit with us by email or phone.

We look forward to meeting with you!

Level 1: Healthy Living Farmer

$25 per person, per day

Healthy Living Farmers have access to the farm M-F 10am-2pm. Enjoy the sights and the sounds of the farm, access to the forest trail for nature hikes, exercise, and scavenger hunts. Grow in the garden with your own garden plot from start to finish. Tools included.

Relax and experience the mindful benefits of a day well spent while snacking at the picnic tables, completing your own craft, or grounding in one of our open farm areas.

Level 2: Skill Builder Farmer

$50 per person, per day

Enjoy all the benefits of Health Living Farmer with added benefit open hours 9am-2pm and farm animal interactions. Each visit will include self-directed farm activities, such as watering the gardens and animals, raking, sweeping the barn, or cleaning animal enclosures.

This level also includes 30 minutes of learning about the farm animals, including how to feed, groom, walk, and care for our various pets. In addition, we include mindful moments where everyone learns to be aware of self and their surroundings in a calm and peaceful way guided by individual preferences.

Both levels include support from Blue Barn Farm’s owner, Christine Baughman. Christine is a registered nurse and certified large animal veterinary technician, with a focus on health, wellness and stress reduction.

All memberships are billed monthly. We will make every attempt to make up a missed day within 30 days of occurrence.
